Anubis runs a variety of training courses for the security industry and works closely with the UK Security Industry Authority. They have an excellent reputation in the industry and the directors have verifiable extensive international careers and operational experience in the police, armed services and commercial arena.
Anubis has recognised that the security industry needs a much higher level of security consultant qualification, and has developed a diploma course to level five. This course is mapped into the new National Occupational Standards for security consultants, which have been drawn up for future regulation.
The CSC course has been fully developed by Anubis and accredited by Buckinghamshire New University., Skills for Security and the Institute for Risk Management (IRM).
Modules one and three each comprise of ten days guided learning with module two comprising 150 hours of distance learning. Each module is portfolio assessed. After the successful completion of all three core modules, successful students will be able to place the letters CSC after their name. | | The course is aimed at individuals who wish to secure employment at a management level within the security industry. Also, it can be applied as part of continuing professional development to aid any future licensing criteria by the Security Industry Authority.
Additionally, the CSC is aimed at non-security industry candidates who may be broadening their service to target larger companies. These organisations may need higher levels of general security and may seek an employee responsible for all security issues and business continuity.
The course is structured to give the individual a broad understanding of security knowledge and management techniques in order to effectively manage a security function and/or provide a consultancy service to varying sizes of organisations.
